The nights are getting darker and the sun has decided to pretty much give up for 2015. But we’re not even halfway through the summer holidays! Fear not as we are due an ‘Indian Summer’. Here’s how to make the most of it.

Find A Beer Garden

There is nothing better than sinking a few cold ones outside in the Great British air. It gives us a boost and a ‘holiday’ feel. Unwind by the sea or mingle with the locals inland. Check out our blog of beer gardens or why not go Al Fresco in Ocean Village and watch the world go by.

Have a BBQ

We Brits pride ourself on stiff upper lips and when it comes to our love with the weather there is nothing better than marrying the two in total harmony. The New Forest has 100’s of BBQ sites that are Forest Commission approved and maintained. Fire up the grid, slap on some meat and enjoy from the comfort of your umbrella.

Go For A Walk…in the evening

If God had created a place to hang out to get away from it all Hampshire is probably it. Generous coast line, luscious greenery and glorious gardens. While not take a stroll along Hill Head and take in the breath taking view of the Solent and Isle of Wight. Weston shore is a hide out that not many people outside the area know about.

Portsdown
Ports Down Hill

While the old forts and gunneries of Eastney, Portsmouth offer some exploration of postcode heaven, not to mention the stunning view across Portsmouth from Ports Down hill.  Spoilt for choice!

Boat It

Being on the south coast means you have to take to the water. From the water sports club at the Floating Bridge, Southampton to a powerboat experience in the Solent you will not regret the move. There are many Blue Funnel cruises that give you the chance to party or explore the history of Southampton docks. Why not fly across the Solent on the hovercraft – the only working passenger hovercraft service in the world. You’ll need an extra week!
