Southampton’s Hidden History Walk
This city is steeped heavily in history, from maritime to law. This Saturday and Sunday why not stroll through time and bag yourself some local knowledge that you didn’t know before. You’ll be on your feet for approx 90 minutes, walk a total of 0.75 km and even pass some of our serviced properties that are located along route.

Oktoberfest is already the worlds largest beer and folk festival and it has finally arrived in Portsmouth. Giant tents capable of holding thousands of revellers have been erected, Bavarian music will be played alongside some more familiar shants.
As a city Portsmouth already has a link with Duisburg is the second-oldest Anglo-German twinning. Sample some quality German beer, enjoy a sausage or two and head to Guildhall Square for its first ever Oktoberfest. Tickets from £10.
The Stage Door located near the Guildhall has hosted many a show and is even home to Jason Manford’s Comedy Club. Already established as the perfect night time venue this weekend sees a spooky happening.
Sunday 30th October sees Halloween in style, with fabulous divas Cassidy Connors and Aura-J as they entertain you in the most devilish way with some fine stories.
