What You Need To Do This Autumn

  1. Go rock climbing. Red Spider, near Fareham, Portsmouth are passionate about climbing and bouldering. There are over 250 problems set by some of the best route-setters in the country for the ultimate challenge. The kids castle & pirate ship (consisting of tunnels, slides and climbing), complete with mezzanine for parents to relax and supervise their children simultaneously prove popular and fun for the family. Plus the coffee is good!
  2. Go Walking. We are truly blessed to have some of the best of British countryside, all within distance of our serviced properties.
  3. 100 acre
    Forest of Bere

The Hundred Acre Wood, Wickham has various tracks that the family can all take part in. On site the giant sandpit and assault course should wear them out for at least a few hours. And you may just spot a famous bear…

  4. Pick pumpkins! Our soil in Hampshire soaks up some of the sky’s goodness, giving you the chance to pick the finest fruit and veg around. October is pumpkin picking time; from Pickwell Farm, Bursledon to Romsey, you will find the ‘pumps’ in the UK.
  5. Whats SuP! Paddle boarding has boomed this summer. With its ease of storage and simplicity to blow up, from serviced property to water it is the perfect hobby, even in the autumn sun. Check out WeSUP, the stand up paddle boarding club on the river Hamble.
