Curry & Business Charity Night

On October 30th, 2018, Town or Country is proud to be host the latest Curry Business networking event at the recently-reopened Kuti’s Brasserie in Southampton.

The event, which was launched by the Waterlooville-based digital marketing agency Tillison Consulting in 2014, is dedicated to business networking with a distinction. A selection of authentic Indian dishes will be served at the event, which starts at 6.30pm, and proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Haven.

Founded in 1985, Town or Country provide cost-effective serviced accommodation in Southampton and Portsmouth, with value for money and, most importantly, that home-from-home experience.

Sharon Wood, Business Development & Partner Relationship Manager of Town or Country, says: ‘We are delighted to be returning to Kuti’s Brasserie for our fifth time as hosts of Curry Business. We last hosted in January and can’t wait to get stuck back in, especially in the name of a charity as vital as Breast Cancer Haven.

‘As far as networking is concerned, Curry Business is a can’t-miss event for businesses in Southampton and across Hampshire. It brings something unique to the table and the atmosphere is always enjoyable!’

Food for the evening will be priced at £20 per person, and an additional £5 donation to Breast Cancer Haven will be requested.

Breast Cancer Haven is a national charity offering free emotional, physical and practical support to anyone affected by breast cancer. From their welcoming centre in Titchfield, counsellors, therapists and health professionals from the Wessex branch of Breast Cancer Haven offer patients the support they need to help them with their own personal challenges of living with breast cancer.

Mark Tillison, Managing Director at Tillison Consulting, says: ‘Breast Cancer Haven is a charity we have supported multiple times over the last year through Curry Business, and we are thrilled to continue supporting the important work that their staff carry out not just in the Wessex region, but across the UK.’

Hosted in locations across Hampshire, Curry Business has helped Tillison Consulting raise in excess of £5,500 for local charities including No Limits, The Murray Parish Trust and Smile Support & Care.

Mark adds: ‘Curry Business is a social evening with no agenda other than to enjoy the company of other businesses while supporting worthy causes. There are no subscriptions, no memberships, no commitments – if you gain some business from it, consider it a bonus.’
